Who we are, and how to join
The Jacobs Well Store Cupboard is a local independent charity Food Bank that has been running since 2015 and is available to Gosport Residents Only. This was created to help anybody who needs short-term food support, this can include those who are homeless, unemployed or employed. To obtain Food Parcels we use a referral system
What criteria do I need to have?
You must be a Gosport resident and you need have one of these criteria - Loss of employment / Low income / Debt or financial crisis / Domestic abuse / Homeless / Temporary accommodation / Illness or hospital discharge / Family breakdown / Fire or Flood / Refugee / Asylum Support / Other emergency.
I meet the criteria, how do I Join?
Contact a local authority and tell them about your situation, they can then fill out the form on this page to refer you. A full list of Agencies and Authorities are below.
What happens after I have been referred?
When we have received your referral and it has been checked, we will enter you onto our database.
Once this has been processed we will contact you either by Phone or Email to let you know when you can start receiving food parcels. You can collect 1 parcel of food 3 times over 12 months.

Our opening times are:
