Donate your Furniture

Before we accept your Items, we have to be sure they are in reasonable condition for us to sell. Unfortunately we will refuse items if any of the following are showing

• Broken / Not in working order
• Blemishes, Stains or Tears present
• Not structurally sound
• Fire safety label missing on Upholstered furniture
• Electrical items not disconnected
• Manufacturers plug not present

Jacob's Well can refuse an item at any time if it is deemed unsuitable for the charity, this includes at the point of collection, even if our administration Team has accepted them.

Before collection, the customer should:

• Cover any Carpet, Stone, Tiles, Wooden or Laminate Flooring (This is to prevent any Gouges, holes or Tears . )
• Protect any doorways, banisters or walls (This is to stop any Scratches, scuffs and Dents)
• Check the item/s you are donating, are emptied before the day of collection.

Jacob's Well will not be liable if any accidental damage occurs during the item/s removal if these steps are not taken. 

This is a free service and occasionally we may have to reschedule collections at the last minute due to charity and business commitments.
